Renting Beach Houses

Saturday, December 6th, 2008
Living and working in a beach front in a summer is a blessing. On the one hand, you can make a killing on the beach house rentals during the summer. On the other hand, it is quite crowded during the summer and quite deserted during the rest of the year. Above all, it can be difficult to watch your entire town taken over by the rich of the state, people who do not even live there for 9 or 10 months of the year. Yet in the end, I  like running a rental house from the beach. It allows me to take easy most of the year, and who does not love to take it easy?

I did not start as a real estate guy. I was just someone with a bit of money to rehabilitate a house. The idea of a house rental from the beach had not yet entered my mind at first. I just wanted a home that was near water. I found a fixer upper that meet admirably the bill. It was exactly what I was looking for. I thought about selling it and buying another to work for, but I saw how much money people have paid for the house rental from the beach.  I did not want to sell my house and I really enjoyed living in it for the most of the year, but I was alright staying somewhere else for this  summer. I decided to rent it out.

At first step, the beach house rental was just a small thing. It gave me money to travel during the summer, and supplemented my living for the rest of the year. People like the beach rental houses by owner. The business has always been good because I want to give them the personal touch that they wanted. I want to make sure that the place was full with food, and was in good condition. I would even show them around town when they first came over the summer. Overall the performance of the beach house rental was a bargain. Soon I had more money than I knew what to do with. I’m pretty frugal by nature, you can see, even when I travel. I decided to open more of the beach house rentals. Now I have a dozenbeach house rentals. All I have to do is to set up during the off-season, make sure people pay the rent, and that is that. Life can not do better than that!
