Cheap Hotel Rooms

Wednesday, January 28th, 2009

My husband often complains because I will not stay in cheap hotel rooms . When I took my mother with me at night to see a concert, she complained about how much money I spent on our room. I guess I could be the only one in my family, but I do have a good place to stay. I know that the reason is that I stayed in too many bad hotels, and I refuse to do so again. There are many good ways to save money on a lot of things, but hotel rooms are one thing that I’ll spend more just to be sure I know what I am.

Many cheap hotel rooms, I have stayed in scared me. There was one I remember that was so bad I slept on blankets and froze all night. There was no way I was in the exploration of the sheets. I tried to get a new room, but they were full, and I’m not sure another room would have made a difference. I would have left and gone somewhere else, but the room was paid in advance and they will not give me back my money. Unfortunately, the area where I was staying had nothing but cheap hotel rooms , so I just have to grin and bear it.

You are always gambling when you select cheap hotel rooms. I am not saying that the hotels offer a discount through a website, I am talking about the ones that there are still cheap. I never have found one under hundred dollars that was worth the money. I’ve always been afraid of hotel beds to begin with, but if you add sheets that look like they were not cleaned, and a bathroom that has clearly been neglected, and you can spend your stay terrified of what lies perhaps in your room.

I know there are good cheap hotel rooms. I never found one, but my father tells me they exist. He was a truck driver for a long time, and he learned very quickly when the rooms were good, and those to avoid. He always had cheap hotel rooms, otherwise it would have increased spending on lodging than he’s making in a week. He said  that decent cheap hotel rooms are there, but you should know what to look for, and you must remember where they are for the next time.
